Green Valley is an area of Henderson which is also governed in part by Clark County. It is located in the Southeast Las Vegas Valley. Green Valley is known as one of the first suburban communities developed away from the Strip. It is know a mix of ranch homes built in the 1970's along with new home developments.
Green Valley also has an area which is zoned for equestrian use and includes many luxury homes where homeowners share facilities for thier horses. The other luxury home communities in Green Valley include The Fountains and the Legacy Golf Course.
The best place to shop in Green Valley is at The Galleria. It has several major department stores along with many restaurants, casinos, shops and other businesses. Next to The Galleria is the largest development of automobile dealerships in Nevada. If you're looking for a new car, this is the place.
